Thrilling 30km - From Lennox Gardens to Lennox Gardens
The finer details...
You are going to be blown away by the stunning lakeside route we’ve meticulously created for you, amidst the breathtaking fuchsia, burnt orange and scarlet colours of the autumn trees and the shimmering ripples of the sun across the water.
This iconic route immerses you in the waterside nature of Lake Burley Griffin like you’ve never seen it before. Starting from the serene Lennox Gardens featuring the landscaped Beijing Garden and Canberra Nara Peace Park, we will all move in an anti-clockwise direction. Our 20km walkers stroll over Kings Avenue Bridge whilst the 30km hikers walk through the Jerrabomberra wetlands and the Kingston Foreshore.
We all then adventure past the iconic buildings of the central loop, the Australians of the Year Walk, Yarralumla Bay, Government House, and Scrivener Dam, before reaching the National Rock Garden, Black Mountain and the Fountain at Regatta Point, before finishing for a celebratory glass of bubbles back at Lennox Gardens.
Fun, friends, fitness and fabulous nature are in, busy roads are out!

Hard copy - Coastrek Canberra Map Guide
Wanting to keep it old school? We still have a hard copy map guide available as a simpler alternative to the Capra maps.
Please note: All Coastrek routes are subject to change. We attempt, at all times, to adhere to the advised route. As we are immersed in nature, however, there may sometimes be circumstances beyond our control (tides, fallen trees/branches, other safety aspects as advised by local councils) that require us to slightly alter the route. In any such cases these will be clearly marked and identified on event day.
