Angela Mollard is a prominent Sydney-based journalist who is known for her insightful and thought-provoking writing on a variety of topics, including culture, lifestyle, and social issues.
Her involvement with Coastrek dates back to where it all began with the partnership with the Fred Hollows Foundation, raising money to restore sight in disadvantaged communities around the world. Her association continued through Coastrek’s partnership with Beyond Blue, raising awareness about the benefits of walking for mental health, and now, Angela hikes for healthy hearts in support of the Heart Foundation.
“I’m so proud to be an Ambassador for Coastrek which has now partnered with the Heart Foundation, furthering the incredible work of Di Westaway and her team to raise money firstly for eyes, then minds and now hearts,” she said.
For Angela, Coastrek represents more than just a physical challenge. It is a celebration of women's strength and resilience, and a platform for empowering women to be the best version of themselves.
“Coastrek is a huge and very special event that ticks all the boxes for women’s health. I’ve hiked both the Sydney and Mornington Peninsula events and hope to keep making my way around Australia to the other spectacular locations.”
